We are pleased to share that RomaPlaceAge received the Involve Award at Heriot-Watt University's Principal's Research Impact and Engagement (PRIME) Awards ceremony, held on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, at the University's Edinburgh campus.
The award recognises research projects that actively involve communities in the development and delivery of research.
This recognition is particularly meaningful given the central role of Roma co-researchers in our project. Their knowledge, experiences and commitment have been invaluable in shaping the research, collecting and analysing data, and identifying priorities for positive change.
The award reflects the collective efforts of our Roma co-researchers, community partners and research team. We are especially grateful to our co-researchers and partners for their hard work, dedication and important contributions throughout the project.
Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved!
